TEMS provides emergency medical service and transport to local hospitals for students, faculty, staff, and affiliates of Tulane University.
All emergency medical service and transport by TEMS is provided to the campus and surrounding areas (see "Service Area") free of charge.

| If you find yourself in need of TEMS
|
Call the Tulane Police Emergency Line at 865-5200 (On Campus Extension
5200).
Give the exact location of the patient. Include building, room number,
etc. as appropriate.
Tell the dispatcher as calmly as possible what happened and why you need
TEMS. Make sure to alert the dispatcher if the patient is not breathing,
unconscious, or bleeding severely.
Give the dispatcher the number from which you are calling, or a number
where you can be reached in the event that TEMS needs more information
while they are en route.
ALWAYS let the dispatcher hang up the telephone before you do.
